28 photographs from Apollo 11, stored on Filecoin Onchain Cloud and paid for from an account that anyone can top up
Storage here is paid for continuously from a Filecoin Pay account. While the account has money in it, the provider is paid and has to keep proving it holds the files.
Reading the account…
Anyone can add to the account that pays for this archive. A donation is a deposit into Filecoin Pay credited to that account; it cannot be sent anywhere else and you keep control of your own wallet throughout.
This is running on the Calibration testnet, so donations use test USDFC, which has no value. The archive's account is .
Each one is stored as its own piece. "Open from Filecoin" loads the full-size file by its content address through an IPFS gateway that finds it at the storage provider; the small pictures on this page are served by focify.me.
Live status is unavailable right now, so this shows the collection without it.
The idea of a public collection with its own funding account and a Donate button comes from Project Gutenberg on Filecoin by Jennifer Wang.
